SUGAR MAPLE SWINE

Sugar Maple Swine is a small – one might say micro – family run farming operation just east of Sandy. We focus on humanely raising Hereford Hogs. This heritage breed was on the Livestock Conservancy watch list for a number of years. Due to their top quality meat, fortunately the Hereford breed is making a comeback. We are happy to be returning to the Mount Hood Farmers Market for our third year.

THE SANDY AND HOODLAND LIBRARY

The Sandy and Hoodland Libraries support the community in their endeavors to satisfy curiosity and lifelong learning. By participating in the Mount Hood Farmers Market, we aspire to connect with citizens to let them know about the services we offer. The SANDY SEED LIBRARY program has free garden seeds for people to “check out” with their library card. We encourage people in their exploration of new ideas including attending gardening and other programs held at the library.

SLICE OF HEAVEN FARM

We are a small family vegetable farm located in Sandy, OR. We aim to provide our immediate community with the most beautiful, delicious and healthy vegetables around. We are a compost-based farm focused on soil health. We do not use any pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers or plastic mulch. We became farmers as an active protest against the industrial food system that is depriving us from truly nutritious food.

Everything is grown locally in Eagle Creek with organic practices. Stop by for free gardening advice and an interesting selection of plants to add to your garden. Plants will be available from opening day through the last week in June.

PAISLEY AND SPICE

Twyla, owner of Paisley and Spice, sells homemade jewelry. Most recently, I am making jewelry from broken and tumbled china and from sea glass, and shells. I am also trying my hand at various wire designs. Since I am a crafter at heart, I also make my displays, from various found objects.

CHEEKY LITTLE PIGGY FARM

To thrive in a place where the old ways of growing and preserving your own food is not forgotten. Our fruits are grown with no pesticides. Just our bees to pollinate and ducks and peacocks to rid them of pests. We all do our part here on the farm to create jams, syrups and pie fillings for your enjoyment.
